Redevelopment

Glen Park Community Centre will be undergoing renovations for approximately 4 - 6 months commencing January 2010.  Funding was applied for in partnership between Glen Park and Scope.  The renovations were jointly funded by Department of Human Services, Department of Planning and Community Development and Bayswater Rotary.  Renovations include a fully accessible bathroom with gantry ceiling track for hoists, renovated bathrooms, refurbished classrooms, increased cafe space and doors leading from the cafe to the outside eating area.

During the renovations, our office will relocate to the main hall.  Entry will be via the external door on Glen Park Road.  There will be no public access to any of the internal building which will be fenced off. Some classes will run from Kemp Hall (building closest to Glen Park Road) with access to public toilets.  Art and Music classes will run from Maroondah Federation Estate (which is fully accessible) in Ringwood and Whitehorse Arts Centre.

This is a very exciting time for the Glen Park Community and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.  Please pop in and say "hi", stay connected, share some bad jokes, keep us laughing and receive renovation updates as they happen.  We will advise when the launch will be held and invite you all to celebrate with us!
