Volunteering

Volunteering

Glen Park's volunteers are crucial to our centre's daily operations and are highly valued team members. Volunteering offers people the opportunity to engage in rewarding and fulfilling work while giving back to the community. It's also a great way to update or learn new skills. We are always looking for volunteers to contribute to the Centre and will be taking expressions of interest for 2021.
If you are interested in helping out in our Social Enterprise Cafe, Office, Community Shed or assisting in classroom set up and general cleaning, please contact office@glenparkcc.com.au

Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Antony Cannon for being Glen Park Community Centre's Volunteer of the Month for March!

In 2020, Glen Park's volunteer program was suspended due to the State of Emergency. Antony had only recently joined us before we had to close and work from home. Since we have reopened, Antony has recommenced his volunteering and is motivated and eager to learn new skills, so much so that he decided to take on an additional day in the cafe!

Thank you Antony for all your support and hardwork, it doesn't go unnoticed!
